The Illuminati Murder Mystery is a murder mystery dinner party game unlike any other — a corporate murder mystery game set inside the most secretive, glamorous and dangerous gathering of power on the planet. Guests are attending the commencement dinner of the annual Design the Future Group conference: the clandestine event where the world’s most influential, wealthy and powerful people converge to decide on upcoming global trends, nations’ political destinies, and the rise and fall of celebrities.

Some guests are quirky, some are very dangerous, and several have truly bizarre new products and business ideas to showcase — which may require them to bring homemade props. The atmosphere is swanky, the stakes are impossibly high, and the secrets are explosive. Jim Ball, Founder and CEO of the group, is set to deliver a landmark keynote announcement. But before he can share it, he turns up dead.

This is not a passive experience. Once Mr Ball’s lifeless body is discovered, every guest must interrogate the others over the dinner table, taking turns to reveal suspicious secrets and piece together the clues. With every revelation the web of intrigue tightens — alliances shift, accusations fly, and no one is above suspicion. The beauty of this game is that the drama unfolds organically from your guests, not from a script. The more they commit to their characters, the more unforgettable the evening becomes. At the end of the night, guests may vote for Best Male Character, Best Female Character and Best Dressed. The prizes are up to you!

The game caters for 13–17 guests (7–9 male characters and 6–8 female characters) of varying ages.

The fully designed printable kit includes everything you need to host a seamless evening: the Invitation to set the scene before the night, a Character List, Place Cards and Name Tags for the dinner table, Clue Cards to drive the investigation, the Host’s Order of Events to keep the evening on track, the Murder Victim’s Speech, and the Note Announcing the Discovery of the Dead Body.

Please note: for the game to succeed, you must use all the characters with secrets. There are an additional 4 characters without secrets to keep or reveal that may be added at your discretion.
