The Morgenrood Murder Mystery is a truly South African murder mystery game set on home soil — and the perfect murder mystery game for small groups who want an intimate, deeply local, and thoroughly scandalous evening.

The setting is the reading of the last will and testament of Johannes Jacobus van der Westhuizen — wealthy Afrikaans property developer, widower, and owner of a large estate.

Johannes was a man of grand ambitions: plans for a luxury retirement village, an animal shelter, and an orphanage on the grounds, with a habit of bullying everyone around him into volunteering their time and money for his causes. Some guests admired him for it. Others most certainly did not.

Now he’s dead — and everyone in the room had a reason.
